Branching Out...

For the past 18 months I've been concentrating on publishing my young adult titles, and although I'm by no means finished (doubtful I'll ever be lol) writing in this genre, I've been impatiently waiting to sink my teeth into adult fiction. With a dystopian/UF series on the backburner and my 'secret project' becoming more and more demanding, I decided it was time. My secret project is in fact 'On Dublin Street' my first adult contemporary (HOT) romance. I've been working on this novel for a while now and Jocelyn and Braden have crawled too deeply inside for me to treat this manuscript as a side deal. I'm deep into it now and since it's so close to completion I thought it was time to let it out the bag :)

My goal was always to write a contemporary romance with real heart. Jocelyn and Braden (particularly Jocelyn) are flawed characters with plenty of issues, but they're also really interesting people and I'm hoping readers find their story funny, emotional and a little bit gut-wrenching.<3

 On Dublin Street
Coming September 2012

Four years ago,
Jocelyn Butler left her tragic past behind in the States and started over in
Edinburgh. Burying the grief, ignoring her demons, and forging ahead without
any real attachments has worked well for her so far but when Joss moves into a
fantastic apartment on Dublin Street, her carefully guarded world is shaken to
its core by her new roommate’s sexy older brother.

Braden Carmichael is a man who always gets what he wants. And what he wants is Jocelyn in his bed. Knowing how skittish Joss is concerning any kind of relationship,
Braden proposes a sexual arrangement that should satisfy the intense attraction
between them without it developing into anything ‘more’. An intrigued Jocelyn
agrees, completely unprepared for the Scotsman and his single-minded
determination to strip the stubborn young woman bare…to the very soul.

Genre: Adult
Contemporary Romance. Contains adult content. For readers ages 18+ only.

Read the first two chapters.

This will be the only time I post on my YA blog about my adult fiction blog :)

  14. Samantha! If there is anyone I think should play Braden in everyone's wildest fantasies, it should be Justice Joslin. I mean, how could he not? http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_md77rt2ilD1qlauz4o1_500.jpg
