I'm really happy with this pick for Ari. I saw Naomi Scott on the sci-fi show 'Terra Nova' and she immediately reminded me of Ari.
Charlie Creagh -
Lol, Alex Pettyfer must be on a million fantasy cast lists for YA books but there's something about him that is so Charlie. And I loved finding images where his hair was longer like Charlie's in Smokeless Fire and then short for when he cuts it in Scorched Skies. Alex has that boy next door/bad boy quality that is perfect for Charlie.

OMG I love your choice for Ari! I watched every episode of Terra Nova and loved Naomi...I totally agree with you about Jai...not 100% sold...kinda like dude who played Ranger in One for the Money...totally not Ranger enough for me...

ReplyDelete@Kris - I know quite a few readers thought it was Jai on the cover of Scorched Skies but I was looking for an image that represented the changes Charlie undergoes in book two... including making him look more 'Jinn'. :-)

ReplyDelete@Kris - I know what you mean. Sometimes I get so disappointed by the cast choices in film adaptations of books I love. I was really happy with the Hunger Games cast though and I'm going to see the movie tomorrow, so hopefully it holds up to my expectations :-)
