Happy Halloween! Hi there, I just wanted to let you know that I started your lunarmorte books last night and have just finished the series. It was fantastic. I was seriously struggling to put them down. The stories are amazing. I am going to recommend them to EVERYONE! I am going to try your other books now. I am also from Stirlingshire.. it was crazy finding an author so close. I live in Balfron.
Great news! And wonderful to hear new fans praising your work. I'm always bragging about you, as you know, and had a couple of close friends ask to borrow some of your books. They would the first ya paranormal/fantasy reads for both of them. Sadly, I'm not good at sharing, but each of the girls had recently done something nice for me. So...I decided I would get them both a copy of Slumber. I thought it would be a great introduction to the genre and it's just such a special story. I can't wait to give them their gifts. Thank you for creating characters I feel compelled to push upon my friends and use to encourage them to embrace and take pleasure in the written word.
Aw wow, that's amazing Shelley (do you prefer Bella?). I'm so flattered and chuffed you decided to introduce them to the genre with my wee book. Eeeh! I really hope they enjoy it :-)
Lol. I do prefer Bella. I'm called both by most people though. I love all of your books, you know. I'm in the process of getting all that are available in paperback for myself. I thought since neither of the girls have read any paranormal or fantasy before, Slumber would be the perfect start. And it's not a wee book lol. It's such a beautiful story. A work of art. I know they'll fall in love with Rogan and Wolfe too. ;)
Aw I hope so - one of my reviewers once said Slumber was a nice place to start if you wanted to try fantasy because it wasn't as dense as some other fantasy novels, so fingers crossed they enjoy :-)
Happy Halloween!
