  1. Netgalley is awesome isn't it. I've not dared get any from them for a while though as I already have so many to review!

OOh, I really want to read Eve. It sounds really good.

Yay for mums. They are so good at cheering us up. Hope you're feeling a little happier now.

    I can't remember whether I've entered the giveaways. I'm sure I must have ...

  2. Lol Netgalley is awesome but you're probably doing the right thing. I've only just joined and realised I can't possibly keep up with it and my writing so I'm just going to review the ones I've got and leave before I stress myself out even more. Mum did cheer me up wih the books tho. Also I checked the giveaways, you have entered, so fingers crossed :-)
And I'm going to be reading Eve soon so I'd be more than happy to pass the arc onto you when I'm done, if you want?

  3. Yes, I just read your post about reviewing and you're not feeling anything I haven't felt myself. Getting books for review is a lot more stressful than people who don't do it realise. Whereas you feel awkward being critical as an author yourself, I get that same feeling when I've formed a friendship with an author and then don't enjoy the book, although this has only happened once, thank God!

I did enjoy your reviews though. You did a great job!

  4. Ohh I didn't see the bit about your Eve ARC! I'd love it, but only if you're sure you don't want to keep it. Or I could borrow it and send it back?

  5. It is stressful, I don't know how you guys do it, you're heroes! And of course, I'll send on Eve after I've read it and it's for you to keep because if I enjoy it I'll only end up buying the published edition when it comes out anyway. I'll email you when I'm finished so I can get your addy to send it on :-)

  6. Aww thank you! Don't rush at it though, I have a lot of reading I can be getting on with in the meantime :-D
