They're true adventure stories with elements of Harry Potteresque brilliance. While you're at it be sure to pick up Clockwork Angel (Infernal Devices #1) the first in the prequel series to The Mortal Instruments.


I feel like I've been waiting forEVER for this book and am now putting aside all others for it... :-p
